What do a red-nosed reindeer, an indie-pop darling and a country star have in common?
They’re all headed to Penn State, the Bryce Jordan Center announced this week.
First up is “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical,” which brings the original TV classic to life. Rudolph, Hermey and Yukon Cornelius will kick off the holiday season at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 28. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Downtown Theatre Center, online at ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000. Children under 24 months are free on a parent’s lap.
On Jan.26, singer Lana Del Rey will stop by the BJC on her “LA to the Moon” tour. Expect songs from her new album, “Lust For Life,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and special guest Kali Uchis.

Country star Miranda Lambert will make her BJC debut March 23 on her “Livin’ Like Hippies” tour. Finally, “Game of Thrones” fans can get tickets to the “Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience” starting at 10 a.m. Friday. Famed composer Ramin Djawadi will lead an orchestra and choir performing music from all seven seasons of the Emmy Award-winning HBO series.
